  Just being upfront,— it is $1.50 per mile for gas and time.

💵 Labor Rate

• $40/hour, billed in 30-minute increments

• Most repairs take 30–90 minutes

🔍 Diagnostic Fee

• $50 flat, paid upfront

• Covers full system testing and troubleshooting

• Credited toward your total if you approve the repair

• Non-refundable if you decline to proceed

🧩 Parts

• Common parts like SSDs, RAM, and hard drives are kept in stock

• Higher-end parts (power supplies, motherboards, CPUs) are not stocked

• If a part is needed:

  • You can order it yourself, or

  • I can order it and provide a quote before moving forward

  • If I source the part, there’s a 5–10% sourcing fee

  • I’ll give you pricing options based on speed, brand preferences, and availability, and keep in communication throughout

🧠 CPU/Motherboard Policy

• If testing points to either a CPU or motherboard issue, I require that both be replaced to proceed with the repair

• Once the system is fixed:

  • You may keep both new parts

  • Or I can reinstall the working original part and refund the unused one

• RAM upgrade – 30 min (~$20)

• Power supply install – 1 hr (~$40)

• Deep no-boot diagnosis – up to 2 hrs (~$80)

❓ Repair FAQ

Q: Do I always have to pay the diagnostic fee?

Yes — the $50 covers time spent identifying the problem. It’s credited toward the total if you move forward with the repair. If you decline, it covers the diagnostic work.

Q: What if I already know the problem?

If you’re confident about the issue (e.g., bad PSU), we can skip diagnostics and just bill labor. If your assumption is wrong, we’ll pause and switch to a full diagnostic ($50), which is then credited if you continue.

Q: How long do most repairs take?

Most jobs take 30–90 minutes. I only bill for actual time worked and will notify you if something takes longer than expected.

Q: Do you keep parts in stock?

Yes — I keep SSDs, RAM, and hard drives in stock. I don’t stock power supplies, motherboards, or CPUs. For non-stocked parts, you can:

• Order them yourself, or

• Have me order them and provide pricing in advance (5–10% sourcing fee applies)

• I’ll give you a few options based on urgency and brand preference, and keep you updated

Q: What if the motherboard or CPU is the issue?

I require that both be replaced if testing points to either, to ensure the repair is successful. Once your system is working, you can:

• Keep both new parts, or

• Reinstall the working original and receive a refund for the unused one

Covers professional assembly and full setup of your new PC.

3. You order the parts and bring them to me

• The repair or build was completed properly and tested before return

• Any part I source — whether new or used — will be tested, functional, and compatible with your system

• You’ll always know ahead of time if a part I recommend is used or refurbished

Once the system is picked up or delivered, it becomes your responsibility from that point forward.

If something isn’t working right, you can bring the system back to me within 14 days, and I’ll:

• Re-check my work

• Re-test the system

• Fix any issue caused by my labor or a part I provided

This is not a full warranty or remote/on-site support — just a fair follow-up window to make sure you're up and running.
